What we make
Pick the fit, the denim and the wash, and we place it with a factory that already runs them.
Washes are done in-house by some factories and at a nearby laundry by others; the quote says which. Approve a wash standard before bulk. Metal hardware is often imported, so confirm it early.
Where it’s made
Our cluster guide doesn’t list a denim cluster, so we won’t invent one. We place denim with the factory in our group that runs it and tell you where it is.
We confirm the factory and its cluster with your brief, before any fee is discussed. If no factory in our group is built for your denim, we tell you by email.
Ask in your briefWhat it costs
Denim weight and the wash move a jean’s price most. Fabric is roughly half the factory price.
Typical cut, make and trim
With your quote
No live CMT figure for jeans. The fabric weight and the wash move it most, so the factory quotes from your spec.
Where the factory price goes
Share of FOB, market ranges from published industry sources. They won’t total exactly 100% on any one style. Fabric moves your price more than any haggling on the making charge.
Calculator estimate · USD per piece, ex-factory
Jeans, mid fabric, by pieces per style. The band is the low to high estimate, the dashed line its middle.
| Scenario | 100–300 | 300–500 | 500–1,000 | 1,000+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jeans, mid fabric | $26.40–$48.00 | $22.00–$40.00 | $19.36–$35.20 | $17.16–$31.20 |
| Jeans with a wash treatment | $28.90–$50.50 | $24.50–$42.50 | $21.86–$37.70 | $19.66–$33.70 |
| Jeans, complex construction | $33.00–$60.00 | $27.50–$50.00 | $24.20–$44.00 | $21.45–$39.00 |
The 100–300 column is for comparison: our denim floor is 200 per style. The wash adds $2.50 per piece in the calculator. Estimates from our cost calculator, not quotes: the factory quotes after reading your brief.

Making denim in India
Five questions brands ask before a first run.
200 pieces per style across our group. A custom denim or a special wash can raise it; we confirm the exact figure with the factory before you commit.
Our calculator estimates $22.00–$40.00 per piece ex-factory at 300–500 pieces with a mid fabric, before a wash. These are estimates, not quotes; the factory quotes after reading your brief.
Our cluster guide doesn’t list a denim cluster, so we don’t name one here. We place denim with the factory in our group that runs your fit, fabric and wash, and tell you where it is before any fee is discussed.
Some factories wash in-house, others use a nearby laundry; the quote says which. You approve a fit sample, then a wash sample, and that wash becomes the standard for bulk.
Plan 3–5 weeks for sampling (fit, then wash), then 12–16 weeks from approved sample to goods shipped on a first order, and 8–10 weeks on a repeat.
The monsoon (June to September) slows washing and drying; Diwali (October or November, date moves every year) closes most factories for 1–2 weeks.
